The Order of Free Gardeners is presently in the process of establishing a new lodge in the State of Ohio, with guidance and support from an existing lodge in Indiana.
The Order is a traditional fraternal society, organized in a manner familiar to those who value lodge life, symbolism, and structured degree work.
The system of the Order consists of three progressive degrees:
Apprentice Gardener – Symbolically founded upon Adam in the Garden, imparting lessons of responsibility, discipline, and moral beginnings.
Journeyman Gardener – Founded upon Noah and the Flood, teaching perseverance, duty, and preservation.
Master Gardener – Founded upon King Solomon, emphasizing wisdom, leadership, and completion.
Membership is open to law-abiding men of good character who:
Are eighteen (18) years of age or older
Profess belief in a Supreme Being
Seek fellowship, moral instruction, and personal improvement
This effort seeks founding members who are interested in assisting with the chartering and building of a lodge in Ohio. Once constituted, the lodge will hold monthly meetings.
Serious inquiries are welcomed from those who value fraternity, tradition, and upright living.
