We are off every weekend and every major holiday, plus up to one week of your choice off per month. Typically we run two weeks on and one week off.
We ran this truck profitably through the great freight recession of 2022-2024. We have plenty of business and customers. One day you could be at one of the largest steel mills in the country, and the next day at a mom and pop machine shop.
Guaranteed base pay plus profit sharing and quarterly safety bonus.
Personal use of company truck on weekends.
Requirements:
*CDL CLASS A* and a current medical.
Clean commercial driving record.
Per federal regulations: pre-employment drug screening and enrollment into our random drug testing program.
Must be familiar with North American cargo securement standards.
Use chains and ratchet binders to secure the load. Tarping is occasionally required. (Willing to provide some training)
Transport freight in a timely manner and comply with ELD and Federal HOS regulations.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns.
Must be able to speak and read English.
