Atlantic Sign Company is seeking a dependable, skilled Sign Service Technician to join our growing Service Department. We specialize in commercial signage and lighting repair throughout the Cincinnati and surrounding markets. If you are mechanically inclined, electrically capable, and take pride in completing jobs the right way the first time, we want to speak with you.
Position Summary
The Sign Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing exterior and interior commercial signs and lighting systems. This role requires independent field work, strong problem-solving ability, and professional customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Service and repair LED, fluorescent, neon, and HID sign systems
Troubleshoot electrical components including power supplies, ballasts, timers, and photocells
Perform lighting repairs (wall packs, pole lights, parking lot lighting)
Conduct site surveys and document findings clearly
Operate bucket trucks and work at heights safely
Complete service documentation through company CRM
Communicate effectively with customers and office staff
Qualifications
2+ years experience in sign service, electrical service, or related trade
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (120V–277V experience preferred)
Experience operating bucket trucks (CDL preferred but not required)
Ability to work independently and manage service routes efficiently
Clean driving record
Professional appearance and attitude
