This position will be responsible for: load the days windows and doors on to the truck, perform service calls based on schedule, service calls that are at customer/occupied homes will need to be able to replace/repair glass and screens on windows and doors, adjustments for window and doors when necessary
• Repair/replace windows and doors
• Document work
• Follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE.
• Perform tasks under all weather conditions.
• Travel time to various locations within the region to service window and doors
• Must have driver’s license and social security card
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb 32ft ladders, work at heights, and use tools to fix windows and doors
• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time within the region to service equipment.
Experience:
• Carpentry: at least 1 year (Required)
• A skilled service technician
Must have a least 1 year service tech experience
Ability to set and install windows and doors
Must have drivers license and experienced
· Ensure all material for job is loaded properly on and off truck by following safety procedures.
· Ensure you have properly clocked in and clocked out every day
· Be face of BWI on jobsite
· Treat all customer personnel and BWI personnel with utmost respect.
· Ensure quality of installation of each job meets BWI standard before leaving job site
· Ensure all unused material return to warehouse accordingly and documented on paperwork if not installed at initial jobsite visit
· Must wear steel toed boots, gloves, safety eye wear, proper clothing, hard hat, have ladder safety training before use, wear your seat belts at all times in vehicles, no texting and driving, communicate/text with Regional Manager, Crew Leader and crew if out or late or clock in and out issues.
