Selling my used Atomic skis. Good condition, did annual maintenance on the edges and bases, and stored it inside the home during off-season. These are good skis, but I bought a new pair of atomic skis so these are now for sale.
Here are the Reviews I found about my Atomic skis.
SKI Magazine 2015 Review
Atomic Nomad Blackeye TI (2016)
Published Aug 17, 2015
The Blackeye TI features the same feature-rich frontside carving construction as the Crimson, but in a narrower, quicker, edgier waist width of 81 mm. It’s sold with the same 12-DIN Atomic XTO binding and like the Crimson has a full wood core and metal reinforcement for exacting hard-snow performance.
Where the Vantage series of wider skis offers soft-snow versatility especially appropriate to Western all-mountain conditions, Atomic’s Nomad collection is built for maximized on-trail performance and hardpack carvability well suited to Eastern conditions. Waist widths range from 86 mm down to 76 mm. All five Nomad models are designed and sold as systems (with binding).
The top two models (Crimson and Blackeye) are updated for 2016 with Atomic’s new Carbon Tank Mesh, a wall-to-wall layer of carbon-fiber reinforcement that adds strength and responsiveness without excessive weight. All except the low-end Smoke are designed using ARC technology, which features an integrated binding interface that is pinned in the middle and free-floating fore and aft so as to allow the ski to flex roundly, with no flat spot underfoot, for optimized tip-to-tail edge engagement throughout the turn. And where the wider Vantage series models are rockered tip and tail, the Nomad skis feature tip rocker only, comprising about 15 percent of the ski’s length-enough to absorb shocks and loosen up turn initiations. The top four models are built on wood cores. All are built using Atomic’s Step-Down Sidewall construction: higher sidewalls underfoot for solidity and edge grip; lower sidewalls topped by cap construction tip and tail for softer torsional rigidity and more forgiving performance.
