As an Events & Retail Manager, you will lead and develop marketing teams across multiple territories, driving lead generation and sales performance. This role focuses on hiring, training, and coaching employees while optimizing event execution and ensuring cost-effective results. You will serve as a leader in the field, maintaining strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams while meeting and exceeding performance goals.
Compensation for this role includes a base of $50,000-$55,000, with OTE of $90,000-$115,000 including individual production and team-based performance incentives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Train, coach, and mentor team members; identify performance gaps and implement solutions to improve results
Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new employees to support team growth
Plan, set up, and break down events, kiosks, and retail displays; ensure a professional and effective customer experience
Actively participate in field marketing efforts, including customer engagement and lead generation (15–25 hours per week)
Lead by example in generating leads and achieving sales goals; motivate team members to meet and exceed targets
Monitor individual and team performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to drive results
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and business partners
Ensure all interactions reflect a high level of professionalism and customer service
Accurately track, report, and communicate all marketing activities and performance data
Complete and submit all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner
Manage time, resources, and activities to align with company goals and budgets
Maintain consistent communication with leadership regarding performance, challenges, and opportunities
Foster a positive, accountable team environment focused on performance and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent experience
2–5 years of leadership or management experience
Experience in lead generation or sales environments preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Professional demeanor with strong verbal communication skills
Proven ability to motivate teams and drive results
Strong negotiation skills and attention to follow-through
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Ability to learn and use CRM and communication tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms)
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions year-round
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Frequent setup and breakdown of event displays
Regular use of office and communication equipment
Daily travel between multiple locations required
