This role has clear growth potential and may evolve into a General Manager position overseeing full operations within the next few years, based on performance and potential.
Role Overview: Property Manager (Hands-On)
As a hands-on Property Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned properties while serving as a key point of contact for tenants, vendors, and ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of assigned properties
Coordinate maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely and high-quality completion
Communicate clearly and professionally with tenants, addressing needs and concerns
Market available units and conduct property showings
Manage budgets, track expenses, and assist with financial reporting
Use Buildium as the single source of truth for payments, applications, and maintenance requests
Process rental applications and conduct background checks
Enforce lease agreements and address tenant violations when necessary
Conduct regular property inspections for safety and maintenance compliance
Collaborate with vendors and service providers
Oversee unit turnovers and renovations
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:
Have experience in property management, office coordination, or a related role
Are a strong communicator—calm under pressure and solution-oriented
Are hands-on and comfortable driving to properties (reliable transportation required)
Are tech-savvy and comfortable with software, spreadsheets, and AI tools
Can manage multiple priorities while staying detail-oriented
Have experience in real estate or working with small teams
Are familiar with Buildium Property Management Software
Have an established, reliable vendor network to handle work orders efficiently
