J.A.B. Truck-Air Corporation is seeking a dependable, motivated individual to join our operations team. We are looking for someone who is computer savvy, detail-oriented, and willing to learn the freight and transportation industry.
Create and process shipping documentation and air bills
Enter and manage shipment information accurately
Communicate with drivers, customers, and carriers
Monitor freight movements and resolve operational issues
Perform general administrative and dispatch-related duties
Assist with other operational tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
Basic math skills
Dependable and punctual
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn and grow within the company
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
Must have reliable transportation
Must live within 30 miles of Burlington, KY
Must be available to work nights and weekends when operational needs require it (rare, but occasionally necessary)
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
Previous experience in the freight, trucking, or logistics industry
Experience creating Air Bills
Experience working with SAP software
