Gretsch G3156 Historic Series Streamliner Hollow Body Electric Guitar with Case and Guitar Stand
Model G3156 Serial Number KP030104946. The S/N indicates the guitar was made in the Korea Peerless Facility in January 2003.
Condition: This is a good example of the G3156 Streamliner. Overall the guitar is very clean! Typical of vintage gold plated Gretsch's there is a loss of the gold plating. Bought used about 7 years ago. Our son played it very little as he preferred classical guitar.
Please bring an AMP and guitar cord to test the guitar as we no longer have an AMP. Our son moved and took his amp.
Body: Double-bound single cutaway jumbo body with maple top, back and sides. The top is finished in cream while the back and sides are finished in black giving this guitar a very classy look! Bigsby B-70 Tailpiece with Adjusto-Matic bridge, Gold Gretsch Arrow control knobs, dual cat’s eye “F” holes and a tortoise pickguard. 16” wide, 2.62” deep.
Neck: Maple neck with bound rosewood fingerboard, pearloid thumbnail inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Gold tuners, 24.562” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: DeArmound 2000 single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge with dual volume controls, master tone control and a 3-way selector switch.
The guitar case is in good condition but one of the latches have been broken off the case.
