I bought this guitar from a dealer that had it for many years. The main wear is from shop use... which is noticeable, but light.
No dents, dings, buckle rash, or fret wear. The Composite Acoustics case is as new.
Made in Lafayette, LA USA before Peavey took over operations.
X model features a carbon fiber body, neck & headstock with a high gloss, black “carbon-burst” top and “piano-black” finished sides, back and neck. Known for their unique, “heel-less” neck/body design. Neck & body are made as one-piece and without a standard neck/heel joint. Provides FULL all-frets access for the entire length of the fretboard!
The X Performer has a very balanced acoustic tone, which is fairly loud considering its slim body depth of roughly three inches at its deepest point. When it comes to sustain, there’s plenty of it. Plugged into an amp, the X really comes alive. The pickup system is an L.R. Baggs I-Mix, which pairs the I-Beam pickup with the Element undersaddle pickup.
The neck plays like an electric guitar neck. Extremely easy. The guitar sounds amazing played through an acoustic amp.
1 3/4" nut.
25 1/2" scale length.
2/32 - 1st fret string height.
3/32 - 12th fret string height.
No truss rod.
Strung with Elixir NANOWEB Phosphor Bronze Light 12-53.
