One of several intermediate and professional oboes we are offering for sale. This is a Yamaha YOB-441 wooden oboe. Note that this is the all-grenadilla version, not the plastic one and not the one with the plastic-lined upper joint. In addition to being wood, it includes many keys not found in beginner instruments: low Bb, F-resonanace, F# key tab, and the all-important left F key. It is in exceptional condition: no cracks, chips, repairs or bore damage, plating about 99.5% with little if any wear at all, and pads near-perfect condition. Just through the shop where it was adjusted, bore oiled, had the larger pads replaced, and was brought into excellent playing condition. Should play perfectly right out of the case if you’re picking it up, may need very slight adjustments if we’re shipping it, depending on how many potholes the delivery guy hits. Cork grease is for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a bore swab, new ProTec microfiber cloth, humidifer, paperwork, and key case. All in a very nice hard case with zippered case cover. An excellent instrument for your advancing student at about $3,000 less than the new versions!

Available to play in person in Dry Ridge, KY alongside other oboes and bassoons. Often in Florence and Eastgate as well. Happy to ship for $65. We do collect sales tax on all transactions in KY.
