Authentic 1960's Power Pup garden tractor ... Make Me an Offer ... - $1,600 (Madison, Indiana)

Over the years, I have seen quite a few so called " Power Pups " that were supposedly built from the plans in the 1961 issue of Science and Mechanics but none of them have been built exactly as the plans called for.
They had a different rear axle or transmission or steering box than what the plans specified or the construction on the frame was very poorly done or didn't hardley match the plans at all.
This is the first tractor that I came across that is built 100 % accurately to the plans in the magazine.
I would say that this was most likely built in the early 1960's, shortly after the plans came out in the magazine.
If the original owner built the hood and grill for it, they didn't stay with the tractor over the years. .....
This has :
1928-31 Ford model-A transmission
1939-48 Ford rear axle with hydraulic breaks.
1951-53 Studebaker steering box.
1933-59 Dodge truck brake master cylinder.
These are the exact year and model of parts that are specified in the plans.
The frame is built correctly to the plans and the welding and assembly is very good.
The brake master cylinder is froze up but I am including a new master cylinder that is the correct year and model as called for in the plans.
Even the tires on it match the tires that are shown in the drawings on the plans.
They are very old and the rubber on the sidewall of one rear tire has a bad spot on it.
This tire has a big sidewall patch on the inside in that area so there is still plenty of support.
All four tires hold air.
An original copy of the 1961 August issue of Science and Mechanics is included.
I'm also including the display board that I set up with the tractor at antique tractor shows.
NOTE .. This needs a bracket with a rubber stop that the clutch pulley can come up against when the clutch is depressed to stop the transmission from rotating and keep from grinding gears when shifting.
This is something that is not on the plans. ................................
