Here's a clean old Deere that's been well taken care of. I've owned this 4450 for several years and used it for light farm work, but I'm consolidating equipment and it's time to find it a new home. This one shows 9,194 hours on the meter – and it's accurate. The 158-horsepower Deere engine still starts right up, even on cooler mornings, and doesn't smoke or rattle. The powershift transmission shifts through all the gears nice and smooth – no jerking, no slipping. It's a 2WD with dual hydraulics, so you've got plenty of flow for whatever implement you want to run. Firestone rear rubber is 18.4x42 with about 50% tread left – still has some good life in them. The cab is clean and has a newer interior – seat, floor mat, and trim are in nice shape. Everything works – lights, gauges, AC, heat – all of it. This is an original tractor, not some cobbled-together restoration. Paint is faded in spots and there's some minor wear from honest use, but the sheet metal is straight and there's no rust issues.
This old girl has been a solid worker for me and will be for the next guy too. No hidden problems – just an honest, straight Deere.
Come kick the tires and take it for a spin. These 4450s are getting tough to find in this kind of original condition.
