evaporative cooler fan (Covington, KY)

It can be used as a fan or as an evaporative cooler. I would NOT recommend to use it as an evaporative cooler in Kentucky, humidity is too high over here.
I PERSONALLY FEEL IT IS UNSAFE TO USE THE COOLER FUNCTION IN THIS CLIMATE passed a certain temperature, THE REASON WE ONLY USE IT AS A FLOOR FAN NOW. THIS TYPE OF EVAPORATIVE COOLER REQUIRES SPECIFICATION IF USED AS A COOLER (window opened for instance). PLEASE, MAKE YOUR OWN RESEARCHES. I don't have the instruction manual.
It makes much less noise than our other floor fans, but our other fans seem more powerful to blow air.
The drawer of the evaporative function shows wears, water might have been forgotten inside when we used this function years ago, but anyway I don't think you want to use this function in KY.
