Taglio Bar & Pizzeria located in Montgomery is hiring an experienced bartender. This position would be for Friday and Saturday nights with room to pick up more days or nights after completing training. Part-time hours are available and **weekend nights are a must for this position**. These are prime money-making shifts! This person must have at least 1 year of bartending experience.

Taglio is a fast-paced, high-volume bar and pizzeria with dine-in, take-out, and in-house delivery. We are a scratch kitchen and also have a strong lineup of Taglio-exclusive alcoholic beverages, including our Taglio + Castelvecchio Chianti and Bianco, Fortello Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon, J.D. Wayne Whiskey, Arcana Gin, and Three Primes Pizza Lager and Traveler IPA.
We place enormous emphasis on wine bottle sales, so this person would complete our specific wine program during their training, including meeting with our Level 3 Sommelier to lock in understanding of our wines.
Job duties include:
- Greeting and saying good-bye to guests.
- Setting up bar and back bar for service: stocking all liquor, wine, beer, NA bevs, and cocktail garnishes.
- Breaking down bar and back bar after service.
- Crafting classic cocktails and Taglio signature cocktails according to our recipes. Pouring beer and wine; tableside wine service.
- Providing excellent service to our guests according to Taglio's steps of service.
- Handling cash deposits at the close of business and balancing cash drawers.
- Assist in monitoring product stock; alert AGM if we are low on something.
- Assist in clearing tables of dishes and glassware; cleaning & re-setting tables when necessary.
- Helping to maintain cleanliness of bar & bar section.
- Helping to maintain cleanliness of employee areas.
- Answering phone and taking to-go orders using our point-of-sale system.
- Assist in correctly packing up completed to-go orders.
- Processing cash, credit card, and Taglio gift card payments in-person and over the phone.
- Communicating with management and coworkers about guest needs.
