Creative scratch kitchen seeks line cooks willing to take on a rotating menu of riffs on American bar classics tinged with Southern & Latin flavors. Extensive kitchen experience is not required, but is preferred. Benefits provided for full time work.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient workflow
- Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
- Adhere to all sanitation regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Knowledge of multiple kitchen stations is preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
