The Baker’s Assistant helps prepare and bake doughnuts according to Marcella’s recipes and production standards. This role supports the decorating and production team by ensuring doughnuts are finished efficiently while maintaining high quality and consistency.
Responsibilities include monitoring icing, toppings, and finishing ingredients throughout the shift. The Baker’s Assistant prepares additional icings or toppings as needed to ensure production continues smoothly without delays.
This position also assists with basic ingredient inventory awareness, helping notify the team when supplies are running low so production can stay organized and prepared.
The Baker’s Assistant should also be familiar with register operation and customer service, stepping in to assist customers when needed and helping support the front of the shop during busy periods.
Employees in this role must respect the product and handle every doughnut with care, maintaining Marcella’s standards for presentation and quality.
