Rear wheel drive. 5.4 L Triton V8. Motor was replaced by Ford (brand new engine) at 135,000 miles. Truck has about 205,000 total miles on it. Triton 5.4 motors start the cam phaser ticking at about 70,000 miles--it is starting to tick but does not affect anything. I had the compression checked--motor is strong other than the "ticking". Does NOT use any oil. Mechanically in great shape! 4 speed automatic transmission. I drive the truck several times a week. Completely new rear end (bearings, pinion, carrier, wheel bearings, seals) about 2,500 miles ago. New front end (ball joints, struts, control arms, rotors, hubs) about 10,000 miles ago. Has all the options--heated seats, electric sliding back window, electric windows front and back, adjustable pedals, heated mirrors, automatic climate control, 6.5 ft bed, toneau cover, steering wheel controls for radio and cruise. EVERYTHING on this truck works! No major dents but does have some paint chipping on the passenger side and slight rust. For a 21 year old truck it is in good shape!
