1990 Sylvan deep V 17’ with 88hp Evinrude - $2,800 (Higginsport)

I bought this boat as a project boat. It was totally gutted. I put in new floor, new carpet on floor and lower side panels. There was a live well but the previous owner removed it but there is still a live well pump with a long hose for filling buckets or cooler or washing down boat. There is a working bilge pump, bow and stern navigation lights. The gauges are not wired, so I don’t know if they work. The previous owner cut all the wires. Tilt and trim work perfect. The motor is an 88hp Evinrude which is a commercial motor. I replaced the fuel pump and removed both carbs and cleaned them. I also had to adjust the timing and now it runs good and has a lot of power. It gets up to plane immediately and I’m sure it goes near 40mph but it doesn’t have a speedometer. It has a newer stainless prop.
There is rod storage along the sides and lots of storage in the bow.
The trailer is in good condition and the lights work. The tires are like new and the spare is new.
This boat is a perfect Ohio river boat or any big body of water. You could also take small kids out with any fear of the falling out because it is so deep.
