In-House Accountant for Affordable Movers

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced in-house accountant who will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of our company. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will contribute to our financial strategy and support our operations while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
**Responsibilities:**
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal financial regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a service-based industry.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- CPA certification is a plus but not required.
