Breadsmith/Local Artisan Bakery is looking to fill the position of Assistant Manager with immediate opening.

The job consists of assisting and supervising the retail staff with any and all duties that are performed daily, and coordinating coverage when call off or unfilled shifts occur. Availability for 30+ hours per week – may require occasional overtime.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Preparing the weekly retail schedule.
• Maintaining a positive work environment with all retail employees and recognizing changes in morale or job performance and communicating with the owner.
• Monitoring daily checklists for the retail staff to ensure all necessary items are completed for each shift.
• Delivering excellent customer service.
• Coordinating daily deliveries. Delivery to wholesale accounts when driver is unavailable.
• Checking supply levels and reporting needed items to store.
• Assisting in the marketing of store monitor seasonal, promotional displays.
• Maintaining clean store image on a daily basis.
• Monitoring daily balancing of cash drawers to ensure proper results.
Retail Management Experience preferred, but not necessary. Hourly pay will be commensurate with retail/job experience. Health care options are available.
