LIKE NEW condition. Solid sitka spruce top with solid Indian rosewood back and sides. No dings, scratches, repairs, etc. Professionally set up with low action; excellent playability.
This guitar was custom ordered as a full body guitar without Taylor's body invasive and mediocre ES2 pickup system. (The ES2 pickup is no longer installed on Taylor's most expensive new guitars, for good reason.)
This guitar looks new and at 5 years old it sounds better than new. Without a cutaway this guitar's sound rivals many rosewood 714/814ce guitars. The Renaissance inlays (now discontinued) on the fretboard and headstock are the most intricate inlays ever used in the 414 series.
The professionally installed K&K Mini pickup provides a more natural sound than Taylor's ES2. Includes original hardshell case, also in like new condition.
A like new K&K Pure Preamp is also available separately for $75. This is not normally needed and was never used.
Can meet anywhere in the Cincinnati, Dayton, or Northern KY area.

With its versatile Grand Auditorium body shape and classic tonewood pairing, the 414-R is all set to perform in a wide range of musical applications. Rosewood back and sides matched with a Sitka spruce top serve up warm lows, pristine highs and a slightly scooped midrange, yielding a dynamic tonal character; combined with our tone-enhancing V-Class bracing, this model is ideal for working musicians in virtually any style.
