I recently got a new job northwest of Cincinnati and so my H and I need to move! We are in a lease right now in southeastern Cincinnati, but are going to be putting it up for someone to take over our lease after the New Year. We have a goal of being out of our current lease by February 1 or March 1. This means we are looking to move into a Single Family home, unfurnished, and pet friendly by February 1 or March 1, 2010.

Pet friendly is NOT NEGOTIABLE as we have 2 dogs under 20lbs (probably combined!) although they are house trained and always crated when we are not home. We need atleast 2 BR, 1 BA and a dishwasher preferred. A fenced in yard would be really nice too! We would be willing to look at townhouses that have yards, but we are NOT INTERESTED in multi-unit apartment buildings and apartment communities, so don't even contact us if that's what you have. I have a son who is in Kindergarten and I am looking for a 2 bedroom home/apartment to rent. My current lease is up in late January. I have a budget of $550 a month for rent, but can provide a security deposit and can have the utilities transferred into my name. The apartment I currently rent is owned by a landlord who does not monitor the property or other renters. If he did he would realize that the weeds have grown out of the bushes and up the side of the building where they are now growing into the gutters. He would also know that the neighbors leave beer cans and trash and toys all around the property. The one time I called to complain he recommended that I call the Health Department if I had an issue with it. I am not a complainer, but I would like to raise my son in a healthy environment. This posting has been up for months. I have contacted this landlord multiple times. Each time we have set up a viewing and he NEVER SHOWS UP! I've had other people make appointments with him and he still doesn't show up. This is even when you call him 30 minutes before the appointment to remind him you are meeting. I'm not sure what his objective is, but if he doesn't even show up in order to rent out an apartment I can only guess at what kind of landlord he would be.

Please, don't waste your time. The building and location really isn't that great anyway.
